Two Nerds Make a Night

What we did for New Year's Eve: work (me) and wrangle small boys (TTD).
What we're doing tonight, with two days off before us: eating pizza in bed while watching Ken Burns's Civil War documentary.
Our idea of a perfect night: see line above.

With this much nerdiness in the gene pool, our children are doomed.

Hey, I personally think nerdiness is a highly underrated quality, but then, consider the source.

Hi! I just want to say that I discovered your weblog today and I like it. I'm in Dubuque.

Oh yeah? I spent New Year's Eve reading archives over at This Woman's Work while my husband watched Sci-Fi (which I hate). At least you guys' nerdiness is compatible.

oh Lordy...I feel some dreadful, pseudo-Henry V phrase coming over me, like "if such company be nerds, then I am proud to count myself a nerd!" Honestly--you raise the nerd-tone to such a high level of coolness that it exalts the very term!
